Tail Wags ‘N At, a Verona dog day care and kennel facility, has been very kind and helpful to the rescue. Currently they are fostering Bella for us and previously they fostered Shamus, a crazy little guy, until he was adopted. They have a very nice facility and are very caring with their boarders. They are located and can be reached at
Camp Bowwow Pittsburgh South very generously donated to the Pa Great Dane Rescue and we greatly appreciate their help. Aside from having a fantastic facility for dog boarding and dog day care, Camp Bowwow Pittsburgh South has a great staff. They are excellent with their pet care and very generous people. They’ve been watching one of our Danes for quite a while now and helped us in the past to adopt out another Dane. Please visit their website and consider supporting this kennel, they deserve it and your dog will be very happy there.
We always need foster homes, and we still need foster homes, so if any of you have some room for a temporary visitor to your home, please contact Jean at 412-916-2167 to discuss how you can help the PA Great Dane Rescue.
The Pittsburgh Post Gazette ran an article on dog parks in the Pittsburgh area on Thursday. The article, which can be found here, lists dog parks around the Pittsburgh area. The article does not reference the dog park at Brady’s Run park that is available for dog lovers nor does it mention Lucky Paws Pet Resort, a kennel and day care facility in Freedom, PA that has a swimming pool for your dogs.
